• Resumo:

  Mundialization of capital results not only in the relocation of the productive activities and investments, but also in the transfer of the responsibility for degradation to the most vulnerable classes and countries. In Brazil, this process has brought about large as well as small electric power plants. Consequently, confrontational events between locals and the Electric Sector are multiplied. This paper analyzes such existing conflict experience, focusing on the meanings produced by the two rationalities in dispute.
